Ho anch'io il PDT 022, in rete ho trovato solo manuale in olandese e francese.
Ho trovato però una traduzione in inglese in formato testo, se può servire:
Philips PDT 022
The + --- - dial (7) is used for calibrating the device and not used for exposure.
It influences the sensitivity of the metering probe.
1. The device is capable of computing exposure time AND paper gradation.
-Turn on the enlarger lamp (white button).
-Put both dials (1 + 2) on 0.
-Open the metering probe (8) by pressing the handles towards each other.
-Measure the lightest area containing detail (i.e. darkest on the print).
-Turn the dials so the indicator (10) is centered.
-Turn the large center dial in a way so the arrow (4) points to the number indicated in the window (3).
-Now measure the darkes area containing detail on the easel and adjust the dials so the indicator (10) is in the middle again.
-Turn the black center knob (5) so the black line points to the newly found value indicated in the window (3).
-The black line now shows the paper grade you should use.
-Turn of the enlarger lamp (yellow button)
-Exposure is done with the green button.
The exposure correction for harder paper grades is automatically computed.
You can eliminate this function by putting the black center dial line on value 6.
paper grades are:
0. EZ = extra soft
1. Z = soft
2. S = special
3. N = normal
4. H = hard
5. EH = extra hard
I don't use grade paper but multigrade paper with the splitgrade technique and
did not take the time yet to test the device with multigrade paper, so I only
use the next function at this time:
2. use as a sole enlarger timer
Put the black center dial line on value 6.
Adjust the time dials to the timing wanted.
The device needs a charging time of 5 seconds between each exposure.
